- that was the original plan for the
proposal, but when we arrived,
Seth decided it didn’t feel
quite right.

Erika - Britney’s best friend
and Seth’s then-coworker.
We were introduced at the party and quickly became friends, though we were both in other relationships at the time. Over the next couple of years, we stayed close, and as life shifted,
so did our connection...

there, after visiting that spot
countless times.
We called family and close

time zones).
So, he pivoted
and suggested we head
to Point Dume in Malibu to catch the sunset. It’s a place that means a lot to us, where we sat together on a visit in 2020 and decided
to try to move to
Los Angeles.
We went on our first official date, and from that night on, everything
just felt
right.

weekend trip to Philadelphia.
We wandered neighborhoods, ate every philly cheese we could find, saw
Anderson .Paak perform at the old
opera house, and felt like we had found our rhythm
as a couple.
We had our
first date at Iron Gate in
Dupont Circle, Washington, D.C.
Seth was nervous.
Britney was... radiant.
It was cozy, a little fancy, and exactly right.
We had grown closer
